Parents behind commitment’s choice of UA

November 6, 2009 – 6:00 am

When Arkansas commitment Chris Smith made his unofficial visit to Fayetteville in June, his parents came along. They also made the trip with him on his official visit for the Eastern Michigan game.

“They loved the hospitality the coaches showed,” Smith said. “We got to visit the academic center again and they’re still in love with everything. It’s a good thing that my parents are behind my decision.”

Smith has flourished in his senior year with 70 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 22 quarterback hurries, 6 pass deflections, 4 tackles for loss, 4 forced fumbles and 1 recovered fumble for the 10-0 Falcons.
