Rocket to camp up North

Cornerback Eric Redmon, 5-8 ½, 175, 4.41 of Little Rock Catholic has secured a scholarship offer from Boston College and is hoping to see others follow.

He attended Notre Dame’s football camp on Sunday. Fighting Irish defensive coordinator/ defensive back coach Corwin Brown was impressed with Redmon.

“Coach Brown told me he liked my footwork and said if I can work on that I can be a great athlete,” Redmon said.

Redmon, who recorded 68 tackles and 16 pass deflections last year, said Michigan State has seen his film and wants a closer look at him.

“We’re planning to go to Michigan State and LSU in the next two weeks,” he said. “Michigan State really wants me to come to their camp. I went up there for a junior day earlier this year.”
