Recruiting tidbits

Helena-West Helena OT Mckale Carter has been offered Arkansas State. He’s receiving interest from Stanford, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Louisiana Tech and Mississippi State.

Rockwall, Texas OC Austin Woods said he’s still trying to decide what schools to visit this summer.

Shreveport Evangel DT Brandon Jackson said he has offers from Arkansas, Texas A&M, Tulane, Colorado, Virginia, Tennessee and Louisiana Tech. He orally committed to the Aggies in April but said there’s a good chance he’ll make a visit to Arkansas this summer or in the fall.

Monticello S Brishen Mathews has added offers from Central Arkansas and Memphis. He plans to attend camps at Arkansas, Ole Miss, LSU, and Miss. State.

Bentonville OT Chase Petersen received calls from North Texas, Oklahoma St. and Arkansas on Tuesday night. He said he’ll definitely make Arkansas’ three day camp in June but is unsure about other camps he plans to attend.

Paris OT Charles Dement said he’s looking into attending a lineman camp at Arkansas tech. He plans to make Arkansas’ three day camp in June. Razorback offensive coach Mike Summers visited Paris during their spring practices.

Arkadelphia LB Ashdone Bailey said Tulsa and Louisiana Tech are showing strong interest. He plans to go to camps at Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tulsa, Louisiana Tech, Arkansas State and Central Arkansas.

Tallahassee North Florida Christian QB Clint Trickett has added offers from Florida International and Colorado State. He said Arkansas and Louisville have a slight lead for his services.

LRC TE/DE Dakota Mosley will participate in the Southwest combine on Saturday and then will travel to Tennessee for their camp June 1-2. He will also attend camps at Oklahoma on June 7 and Auburn June 13-15. Mosley is tentatively scheduled to go to  Arkansas’ Sr. camp July 19.

Springdale Har-Ber S Houston Pruitt said Southern Illinois is showing strong interest. He plans to attend camps at Arkansas, Nebraska, TCU, Ole Miss and North Texas. He is also being recruited by Arkansas’ baseball team.

DeQueen RB/LB Greg White plans to go to camps at Arkansas and Ole Miss.

McGehee S Grant Gill said Tulsa, Memphis, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Louisiana Tech, Southern Arkansas, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Central Arkansas, Arkansas State and La-Monroe all visited during the spring evaluation period.  Oregon was scheduled to visit but was unable to make it. He plans to go to senior camps at Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tulsa, Louisiana Tech and Arkansas State.

Monticello LB Joe Carmical has an offer from Arkansas-Monticello and Marshall. Arkansas State is showing strong interest. He plans to go to camps at Arkansas State, Miss. St., Arkansas, Central Arkansas, North Carolina St. Furnam and Marshall.

White Hall RB Larry Walls is planning to attend camps at Ole Miss, Arkansas St., Alabama and Louisiana Tech.

LR Catholic TE Garrett Uekman will be at the Arkansas camp on June 7. He plans to go to LSU’s and Ole Miss’ camps in July.

Shiloh Christian LB Mitchell Roberts is planning to attend camps at Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Alabama.

Arkansas signee Ryan Calendar will report to Arkansas on Sunday. His high school teammate Jr. RB Nathan Jefferys will also make the trip to check out Arkansas. Jefferys, 5-11, 180, 4.45 has rushed for over 4,000 yards in his first two seasons. Arkansas and most of the other schools showing interest in him are recruiting him as a DB.

Flint, Mich DT Termondae Branch said he will camp at Arkansas and LSU. He said he recived a letter from Hog DC Willy Robinson recently.

Camden Fairview DB Sybhrain Berry  has been offered by Tulsa. He plans to attend camps at Arkansas, LSU, La-Monroe and Louisiana Tech.

Fayetteville TE Josh Hale will attend camps at Arkansas and LSU.

Morrilton Ath. Justin Criswell will camp at Missouri, Arkansas St. and Kansas St.

Helena West Helena WR Jonathon Johnson will camp at Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Arkansas St.

Lonoke FB Morgan Linton will camp at Arkansas St. Arkansas, Ole Miss and Oklahoma. He will either camp at Virginia or Memphis on the 20th of June. He plans to camp at Notre Dame the last week of June. Louisiana Tech, Vanderbilt, Miss St. Southern Miss, Tennessee and others have invited him to their camps.

Warren Ath Raheim Alford has been invited to camps at Ole Miss and Arkansas. He plans to attend camp at Arkansas St.

Green County Tech TE/LB Caleb Hartwig has been invited to attend Arkansas’ two summer camps. He was recently clocked at 4.67 in the forty yard dash. He stand 6-4, 200-pounds.
