Fan base impresses commitment

The rabid fan support Arkansas enjoys, didn’t go unnoticed by one of the Hogs’ newest commitments. Offensive lineman Shauntez Bruce, who orally committed to the Razorbacks on Monday, said he found out firsthand about Arkansas fans.

“The fans were talking to me asking questions,” Bruce said. “That made me feel real important. I’m just a recruit from another state. You think they would show love for their hometown kids but really into with me. That was pretty cool.”

Bruce, 6-5, 300, 4.94 of Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln chose the Hogs over Nebraska, Ole Miss LSU and about 20 other scholarship offers.
