Youngblood doing well on the baseball diamond
April 3, 2008 – 8:08 amArkansas football signee Jim Youngblood has helped the Camden Fairview baseball team to a 14-3 record thus far. Youngblood is hitting for a .364 average with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and 15 stolen bases. He’s been very effective on the pitching mound with a 5- 2 record, 1.14 ERA and 47 strikeouts in 30 innings.

Youngblood’s stats pale in comparason to Taylor Nichols of Magnolia. Nichols is 9-1 with 81 strikeouts in 45.2 innings pitched. He is hitting .567 with a 1.567 slugging pct., 8 hrs & 45 rbi. Now that is worth printing
